Privat-Jet.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect during our Early Access phase, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are preparing to operate as a private aviation platform serving clients across Europe, and our data practices are designed to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
Privat-Jet.com is the data controller for information collected through this site. You can reach us at contact@privat-jet.com or +49 151 63163000 with any privacy question or request.
What we collect
- Account information: first name, last name, username, email address, country, phone number, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text) when you create an Early Access account.
- Consent records: whether and when you accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, confirmed you are at least 18 years old, and whether you opted in to marketing communications — each with a timestamp, so we can demonstrate compliance if asked.
- Authentication activity: sign-up and sign-in attempts (including approximate location derived from IP address, never precise location), used to keep accounts secure and detect abuse. Retained for a limited period, not indefinitely.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically by visiting the site.
We do not currently offer sign-in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple — those options are shown as a preview of what’s coming and do not collect or transmit any data yet. Your phone number is collected but not SMS-verified at this stage.
Why we collect it
- To create and secure your account (contract necessity).
- To notify you about our launch and Early Access status (consent / contract).
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive account activity (legitimate interest).
- To keep this website secure and functioning correctly (legitimate interest).
- To send you marketing communications, only if you opted in (consent).
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. If you request deletion, we anonymize personally identifying fields within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Consent records are kept indefinitely as proof of what was agreed and when, even after account deletion, with identifying details removed. Authentication activity logs are retained on a short rolling basis (around 90 days).
Cookies
This site currently uses only one storage item: a preference saved in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected our cookie banner, so we don’t ask again on every visit. We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and the cookie banner will be updated first, and non-essential cookies will only load after you accept.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Withdraw consent at any time, including marketing communications.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@privat-jet.com.
Changes to this policy
As we move from Early Access toward full launch, this policy will be updated to reflect our full product and any additional processing involved. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
